I did not want to put up a 6 m antenna on top of my 4 x 18 ele EME array so I decided to put it up on a 6 m long tube in my adjacent property. There we have a garden house to which I laid a 230 V cable from my garage. So whenever I am QRV on 6 m I either sit in my garden house or I run the 6 m shack remotely via internet from my main shack.

My 4 ele Yagi is only at 6 m height. I had once put a aluminium tube into a concrete basement to have a possibilty for some antenna testing.

The shack in the garden house: FT857 + Tokyo Hy-Power HL-166V (some 160 watts out).
